FAQ
Q. What safeguards against inappropriate use of images do you take when publishing pictures of children on the Internet?
A. Sports-alive follows the guidelines published by the governing bodies of the sports concerned (e.g.the Rugby Football Union, the British Amateur Gymnastic Association), and also the Child Protection in Sport Unit. We also strive to obtain permission from the parents/carers of the children concerned. Sometimes a blanket permission to photograph is in place with the club or organisation concerned. However, if anybody has an concern regarding a particular photograph or set of photographs, then please contact sports-alive and the images can be either removed, or placed in a secure area so that only authorised persons may view them.
Q. I saw photographs with special effects at the event, how do I order those?
A. Currently, you have to contact sports-alive and place a special order.
Q. How soon should we expect delivery to take?
A. Usually we dispatch small print orders same working day (if received by 4pm). Larger orders and those with special instructions may require more time. Gift orders take up to 3 working days for dispatch. We use first class post for UK orders and Air Mail for overseas. If you have received a dispatch confirmation email from us, but your order has not yet arrived then it must have been delayed in the postal system.
If you order was sent via a trackable service (if so a tracking code would have been quoted in the dispatch email) then you can go to the Royal Mail website and use their track-and-trace service.
In the unlikely event that your UK or Ireland-bound order does not arrive within 1 week of dispatch then please contact us and we will redispatch. Longer grace periods apply for international orders. If in doubt please contact us and we will investigate.
Q.My order has been damaged in the post
A. Please contact us quoting your order reference and details of what has been damaged. We will then arrange to replace the damaged items.
